My name is Justin Fitts and I am a visual artist based in St. Louis, Mo. I work in the mediums of oil and acrylic painting. I began painting in high school and took a few studio art classes in college, but for the most part my painting is self-taught. I received an Associate of Arts degree from Southwestern Community College in 2012 with a focus in Art History.
Painting has always been an extremely fulfilling past time for me. I have created art off and on in my free time since I was a teenager. In 2023 I decided to become more involved in the St. Louis art community. My paintings’ subject matter ranges from portraits of people to animals to household objects. I have received awards from the Gateway East Artists’ Guild and the Soulard Art Gallery.
