Michael Anderson painted live along with Missouri Plein Air Painters Association at the St. Louis Art Museum Public Preview event for the Matisse and the sea on February 16, 2024. Michael posted a short video on his Instagram page.

The St. Louis Artists’ Guild seeks artwork for the exhibition, A Change of Scenery. We seek artwork in various mediums whose work engages with landscape, broadly defined, exploring how the natural environment around us influences our representations of ourselves and communities.

Mary Berry had a piece accepted into Soulard Gallery’s “Broken Hearts” exhibit which runs January 12 – February 17, 2024. The exhibit features expressions of what a broken heart means to each artist

Karen Romani’s piece “Rosie” was accepted into the Ann Metzger Biannual International Exhibition at the St. Louis Artist Guild Nov. 17- Dec. 23

An independent singer/songwriter in California found this painting on Cori Frerich’s website and asked if he could use it as an album cover. It is available for listening on streaming services. Search for ‘When God Feels Far’ by Taylor Forrest.

GEAG artist Karen Romani received the Camalback Gallery Color Impact 2023 Best in Show award.

“The City Beautiful, St. Louis Views 2007-2023,” an exhibition of paintings by Art Saint Louis member Michael Anderson, is presented by Green Door Gallery at Edward Jones, Office of Bobby Lessentine, CFP, 3141 S. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO (October 11-November 30). Free reception October 11, 5-8 p.m. Open by appt. M-F 8:30-5 p.m.
