I am a self taught, still learning, mixed media artist that resides in the Jerseyville, IL area. I work with acrylic paint, watercolor, texture pastes, gel mediums, homemade painted papers, collage, altered images, really anything that intrigues me. I am drawn to mixed media because you can draw and paint simultaneously, switching from one medium to another as each layer transforms the piece.

I usually start by throwing some paint or collage down and then see where that takes me! My goal is to create pieces that make you think and feel the layers and textures.
