I  am a self taught, still learning,  mixed media artist that resides in the Jerseyville, IL area.  I work with acrylic paint, watercolor, texture pastes, gel mediums, homemade painted papers, collage, altered images, really anything that intriquids me. I am drawn to mixed media because you can draw and paint simultaneously, switching from one medium to another as each layer transforms the piece.
