November Members Meeting

Gateway East Artists Guild warmly welcomes Carolyn Karasek, a realist painter working in the classical tradition and long-time GEAG member, to the November 5 membership meeting. While marriage, motherhood and a nursing career took precedence in her life for several years, Carolyn ultimately realized her true passion was art. She went on to earn a BFA degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and an MA in illustration from Syracuse University as well as an MFA in painting from Hartford Art School.
