Tom Blood, a St. Louis-based award winning artist describes his work as paintings of “the impossible, or at least the highly improbable.” He cites artist Rene Magritte as his primary influence and explores many of the Belgian surrealist’s concepts in his own artwork, sometimes adding a dash of humor to make the viewer smile.
