Presenting GEAG’s 9th Annual Art Sampler!
Join us for a series of five different artist presenting five different mediums, held at SWIC’s PSOP. All supplies are provided, and your creation will be ready to take home after each class.
DATES: Mondays – Oct 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
TIME: Afternoons from 1 – 3:00 PM
LOCATION: PSOP Building, 201 N. Church Street, Belleville, IL – in the Cafeteria

Oct 9 – Terri Cheatham – Create a beaded bracelet in the “Goddess” style. You will have a choice of gemstone beads to use in this project. You will learn about beading wire, crimps, clasps and other findings used to make bracelets, as well as the techniques to use in creating any beaded piece.
Oct 16 – Sally Farrington – Watercolor & Textures! Experiment with watercolors and various techniques to create interesting textures. We’ll be making beautiful leaf notecards, bookmarks and tags.
Oct 23 – Linda Rawson – The ever talented Linda will teach us the ‘Lucky Bamboo’ Gouache on Yupo. Bamboo symbolizes longevity, flexibility, adaptability, resilience, but best of all, luck. Who couldn’t use a little of that? Painting will be 8×10, 11×14 Mats will be available for $5. Cash.

Oct 30 – Sharon Campese will show us Neurographic Art, which is a very meditative art form stimulating new neural pathways by combining art and psychology. We use simple tools to transform the fear and chaos of our world into something more calming and peaceful.
