Kulikowski

was born in Krakow, Poland, a wonderful town filled with classic European Medieval architecture and a long history for the arts, which provided a rich background and firm foundation for my sense of aesthetics. In learning to create my own art, I actively participated in both art history and art techniques classes throughout my primary and secondary education. That foundation taught me to appreciate art from an artist’s perspective and ignited a fire within my heart for painting, which has persisted over time. More recently, I came to a juncture in my life when I was jokingly advised to take up painting as an aid in rehabilitation for a wrist injury. My desire and passion for painting was rekindled! And I have taken to painting by storm. Both my passion for art and my creative edge is honed daily by a hunger to improve my work. I draw inspiration from the greats, like Bonnard and Van Gogh—where my love for art began. In this selection of works, I favor using a vibrant color palette and chroma, always striving to preserve the essence of my subject matter while maintaining abstract viewpoints and painting techniques.
