2025 Art Sampler

Presenting GEAG’s 11th Annual Art Sampler. A series of five different artists presenting  five different mediums, held at PSOP. All supplies are provided, and your creation will  be ready to take home after class. 

DATES: Mondays – Oct 6, 13, 20, 27 & Nov 3 

TIME: Afternoons from 1 – 3:00 PM 

LOCATION: PSOP Building, 201 N. Church Street, Belleville, IL  FEE: $35 for the 5 Sessions – Maximum number of participants – 30

Oct 6 – Mary Berry – Learn the art of Scratchboard, a form of direct engraving where you scratch off the dark to reveal a light layer beneath

Oct 13 – Michelle  Norkus – Create  this amazing  two-sided mandala  mosaic flower

Oct 20 – Terri Cheatham – Let’s  make Stretch Bracelets! Everybody loves beaded  bracelets that roll onto your wrist;  no fighting with a clasp!  Learn the ins and outs of making  them, helpful tips and tricks to  make them last! Pick out a box  of natural stone beads that  includes all you need. A fun  social time and go home with a bracelet you made yourself!

Oct 27 – Susan  Przada – We will  be tearing apart  colorful rag rugs  to create a  decorative  pumpkin for  indoor/outdoor  display

Nov 3 – Michael Anderson – Draw with Confidence” Experience two hours  of mark-making, warm-up exercises and expressive sketching. Learn how  to draw with bold strokes and loosen your style.
