My style is a
"painterly realist", I want
to offer the viewer that sense of peace and
beauty found in the nature. Using soft
pastels over a watercolor underpainting has a
nice effect. I also have employed oils and
acrylics for larger artwork.

Statement
Introduced to
the world of pastels in the late 90's by
JoAnne Smith I have come to love their ease
in use, a wonderful way to draw with color!
My interest in art goes way back to
Kindergarten, I won't say how long ago that
was. Today , experimenting and learning new
techniques is on the top of my long "to
do" list. Finding time to create is not
easy but it is a calling best not ignored.
Being outside in nature is the best classroom
and teacher you can have.
