Patty
Strubinger
Patty
Lough Strubinger has been painting since
childhood. Her earliest memories
of drawing and painting are at the age
of seven. She would lay on the floor
every evening studying and drawing the
cartoons from the funny pages of the Post
Dispatch. Since those early years she
has studied as much art as she could in
school and in classes with great artists and
teachers such as Doug Dawson, William
Herring, Jerry Brown, and others.
She has been in numerous
gallery shows ranging from local to
international. Her paintings are owned
by private and corporate
companies both in the USA and abroad. Patty
originally grew up in South St. Louis,
Missouri but today resides in Collinsville,
Illinois.
Artist
Statement
"Like many artists
my passion for painting runs deep.
I love painting nearly all forms of
nature. There's hardly a day goes by
that I don't see a scene that catches my
eye. Whether it's wildlife simply for
the love of animals, reflections rippling
across a pool of water, or large cumulus
clouds drifting above a golden horizon,
I always feel the urge to paint."
