b. Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 1951,
has been an artist, illustrator &
designer for over 30 years. His first one-man
exhibition of oil paintings and watercolors
was at Southern Illinois University,
Edwardsville where he received his BA in
1973. His drawings, paintings &
sculptures have been exhibited in galleries
in St. Louis, MO, Santa Fe, NM and San
Francisco, CA as well as exhibitions at
Washington University, St. Louis & the
St. Louis Artists Guild. His works are
included in numerous personal collections as
well as the permanent collections of
Monsanto, Citicorp and the St. Louis Zoo.
Michael is a member of Missouri Plein Air
Painters Association and the American Society
of Architectural Illustrators. In 2005 two of
his oil paintings were exhibited in the Gulf
Coast National exhibition sponsored by the
Texas Artists Museum in Port Arthur, TX. He
was a participant in the juried plein air
event Painting The Parks 2005 in Estes Park,
CO. His paintings were awarded Best of Show
in the GEAG annual exhibition in 2004 &
2005.
